A MESSAGE FROM TAMI...

Dear Clients,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to personally reach out to inform you of an unfortunate incident that occurred recently.

On April 12, I was severely injured when a horse bit me in the throat and crushed my larynx. I underwent reconstructive surgery on my voice box and spent 10 days in the hospital, 7 of them in the Trauma Level 1 ICU at Texas Health Hospital in Fort Worth, with 6 of those days on a ventilator.

The outcome is miraculous; the doctors are amazed and have no explanation for why I can speak. One of my doctors said the only thing he can say is to "Thank God!" There is no doubt in my mind about the miracle that I am living right now and the gift that God has so graciously given me. I am immensely thankful to God for allowing me to keep my voice and for all the prayers, love, and support that has surrounded me and my family during this time.

Philippians 1:6 - being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

I believe I still have my voice for a reason, and I am committed to using the lessons learned and the good that has come out of this experience for my own growth, and ultimately, to inspire others.

All of my clients who have been to me for the past three years know that I have been working towards a calling that burns in the deepest part of my soul: to facilitate/host mindfulness and wellness retreats. To help people feel love and support while providing a safe place to connect, be inspired, and be nurtured. I'm not exactly sure how my future is going to play out, but my heart and mind are wide open to whatever God has in mind for me.

This experience has made me prioritize my physical and mental health like never before. This will involve physical therapy, speech therapy, breathing treatments, and various medical tests to monitor my progress.

Please rebook your appointment with Shelley Calamia  on the Stone Massage & Wellness website.

Thank you for your understanding. You all mean the world to me.
